Question about rechargeable batteries for a Canon A570?
I have a brand new camera that was purchase for me from a top seller on Ebay. There seem to be no issues with the camera.
However, it did come with rechargeable batteries and the charger. I plugged them up last night, put them in camera this morning, took maybe 10 pictures and then they were dead.
I don’t want to jump and try to get in touch with seller. I am very new to this technology and hoped maybe I could get an answer here first.
Thank you for your help.
I should add that at first I was using regular AA batteries and they lasted much longer than these.
The batteries are NI-MH 2000 mAh
Check the instructions that came with your rechargeable batteries. Sometimes they need extensive charging the first time out of the box to sort of prime the engine.

Digital camera is an “electric tiger”, which eat a lot of electric, if your 450D Rebel Xsi camera battery does not match or pay no attention to saving, the battery will run out when you does not take a few photos. Battery usage could be save by following approach:
First, avoid using zoom operation unnecessary;

The SD940 IS comes supplied with a rechargeable Lithium battery and charger. A fully charged battery will allow up to 220 shots, which is fairly standard for a Canon SD compact.
