how do i get rid of minor black dot on camera screen ?
its a minor circular black dot on the right side of my camera. it doesnt show up on pictures and the camera still works.but the dot is very annoying and im afraid it might spread and turn into something worse. what could this dot be caused by and how do i fix it ?

It might be a failed pixel. Unless it was an expensive camera, it probably won’t be worth repairing. No telling if more will fail or not. All it’s doing is annoying you, there’s no problem with the images, like you’ve found.

My lcd screen on my Samsung s860 camera is black. Please help me get it to work again!?
Ok, every time i turn my camera on, the screen is black. It still flashes and the buttons still work. When i take a picture, it just shows up black. I have no idea whats wrong with it! Please help me! We are going on vacation soon and i don’t want my parents to have to go buy me another camera, if there is any possible way to fix this one! Please help me! Thanks.
Most cameras have what is called a “reset” on them. Some are just two buttons with green spots next to them and when you press and hold both of them at the same time, the factory defaults are restored.
You will have to call Samsung helpline if your camera does not have the two green annotated buttons or a good explanation in your user manual on how to reset the camera
