Is my wifi signal interfering with basic tv channels? keeps saying digital channel encrypted?
I keep my computer in my room (along with small tv) but sometimes i loose picture because it says digital channel encrypted through the antenna. It is those Digital-TV converter channels in small hd tv.
I keep my antenna about 5 feet from the wireless internet antenna on my 3 year old pc.
It is possible.
Check it by turning off your wireless to see what happens then.
If you have no problem when the wifi is off then that’s the problem.
Try longer distance. The age of your pc doesn’t have to do with it.

How do I get digital channels on my TV?
I have a Vizio and it’s supposed to have a built in digital TV receiver but when I tell it to scan channels it never finds anything, not even analog channels. Am I doing something wrong? I have it set on “Antenna” not “Cable”
The TV has a built in antenna so I don’t have to connect one.
We have an older TV with an actual antenna connected so we do have free analog stations in our area…
