Is it advisable to use a screen protector for touch-screen digital camera?
Should I just wipe my screen with dry cloth? or screenpuff? Or just use a screen protector to avoid the trouble of wiping off fingerprints?
My concern is whether the touch screen function will be less sensitive after I put on the screen-protector.

I would check the owners manual and see if they recommend it. If the manufacturer doesn’t recommend it, I would not worry about it. Those touch screens are probably pretty sturdy. You could wipe it every so often, but unless it gets oily or dirty often, don’t worry about it.

Especially in bad weather, we should avoid using in the rain, smoke, frozen weather or strong sunlight as far as possible. How to maintain your digital camera? Now I would like to share a number of digital cameras maintenance tips with you.
Prepare a package for your digital camera to protect it. This is very important, but it’s very easy to be overlooked by people. We usually put the camera into pocket conveniently or hold it by hand when we have finished taking pictures. But it’s not good for your camera. It’s necessary to prepare a compact package for your digital camera. It can be used for carrying cameras, SD card, digital camera batteries, and lens. And you’d better prepare a special package for liquid crystal display.
Clean the external of camera with a soft cotton flannel. First, open the panels of storage compartment and battery compartment, and clean the dust with a soft brush. Then clean the metal part of the camera with alcohol.
As the core of a camera, a digital camera lens is the most precious part. We have to be careful when clean the lens. If there is stain or spot on the lens it will affect the image quality, impair the image contrast, it needs to be cleaned periodically. Do not use cardboard, paper napkin or paper towel to clean the lens, otherwise they will damage the fragile camera lens coating. We should use some tools with fibers cloth or lens cleaning brush to clean it.
Do not expose your camera to the high temperature environments. If we have to insolate the camera in the sun, use a piece of colored towel or some tools with tin foil to block the strong sunlight and high temperature. Indoors, do not put the camera on the heater or somewhere that high-temperature or wet.

OK, dumb question but… do you mean “erase”? If you are trying to get old photo’s off to make room for more, then that’s what you mean.
Anyway, why do you want to clean it physically? You should only need to do that if you’ve spilled something on it (!?). In that case, it would help to clean the contacts, but some memory cards have the contacts recessed, and hard to get to. If the contact on your card are visible, you COULD clean them with a Q-Tip (cotton swab) and a little isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Dampen one end of the swab, and rub against the exposed contacts. But seriously, you should hardly ever need to do that.
Back to “cleaning” off old files. There should be software and/or a cable that came with your camera. If you insert your memory card into your computer to transfer photos out, you can also erase the photos on the card, freeing up space. As a last resort, you could re-format your card (from the CAMERA), and that would clean ALL photos off. ALL… meaning, anything you WANTED to keep would be gone, also. Just saying, you know.
