Will a SD memory card fit a FUJIFILM – FinePix 6.3MP Digital Camera?
I am buying a digital camera for someone for a Christmas present. Their camera broke and so they already have a memory card. (SD) And they wanted that FUJIFILM – FinePix 6.3MP Digital Camera, so i was just wanting to make sure if it would fit with the SD card. ( memory card ) please help me out.
Look your camera up on http://stevesdigicams.com As a general rule, only the newest Fuji cameras accept SD memory cards. Their standard up until this year has been the xD: more expensive as a rule. Newest Fuji models accept both, but check to make sure.

The Finepix Z35 struggled when it came to metering and more often than not the main problem with image quality would be overexposure and highlight blowouts. The colour balance was fairly even across the spectrum however some of the images tended to lean towards the warmer end of the scales. This is not a major problem as it is only a slight magenta cast and does not interfere with the overall impression of the image. The 10 megapixel sensor is more than adequate resolution for a camera of this calibre and images can be enlarged to a decent size.

When it comes to functionality than the Finepix Z35 is incredibly simple to use, as one would expect from a camera of this level. The controls on the back are too close to the body and for the consumer with larger fingers the buttons could prove to be awkward as they are rather small. The buttons cannot increase in size due to the small body so unless Fujifilm decreased the size of the LCD screen this is one sacrifice that has to be made.

Why doesn’t my USB cable fit my fujifilm finepix camera?
I’ve had the camera a year and uploaded pictures before, but now all of a sudden, the USB cable won’t fit into the camera. Does anyone think the cable could be damaged?
Yeah, I thought about the factor being it is the wrong cable. It’s been so long I uploaded pics, it might not be right. I just moved, so it may have gotten lost or left in the process. So can anyone tell me a website to find a picture of the correct cable?
you don’t say what type of Fuji camera you have.
I have a Finepix F50J and it uses a non standard USB cable. The connection to the computer is the same, but the connection tot he camera is smaller than type 2 USB.. I’ve seen similar connectors on MP3 players, Mobile Phones and other space concious devices.
so in my books you have a choice
1) search for the right cable
2) buy a replacement either from Fuji or elsewhere (camera shops may be able to help) the fuji website should be able to identify the cable
3) buy a card reader and avoid connecting the camera at all
