Which SDHC to choose for my new Nikon P90 – Sandisk Ultra II 8 GB or Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB ?

Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB (Static Pack) – $24.98
Sandisk Ultra II 8 GB (Retail Pack) – $26.73
Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB (Retail Pack) – $29.86
Those who have used both types please comment on how the speeds will vary while shooting? I am aware that Ultra II is Class 4 and Extreme III is Class 6 .. but in real life, in a cam like P90 how much difference will it make?

The speed difference will only matter if you want to do a lot of rapid shots (holding the shutter button down continuously). The class 6 card save the cache faster than a class 4 card. You can shoot up to 15 fps with the P90 and have a cache of up to 32 frames and keep up to 10 of these frames. (page 56 of your manual, link below).
With movie mode, you should be able to shoot continuously up to 25 minutes or the remaining memory of the card, whichever is less.(page 83). Either speed class is capable of recording directly to the card without the limitations of the 47MB internal memory. If it were a class 2 card, you would be limited to about 3 minutes in 320 mode and 43 seconds in 640 TV movie mode.
BTW movies eat up memory like crazy. Photographs take up much less space. A 4GB card will hold about 1000 JPG pictures

Should I Buy The SanDisk Sansa Clip? SanDisk Sansa Clip Review
If you like to exercise or travel with music, then the Sansa Clip is the ideal gadget to wear. Considering its features, superb audio quality, and price, the Sansa Clip is highly recommend. Despite its small stature and limited features, the Sansa Clip is a great personal media player for the economically-minded individual. Another great thing about SanDisk’s Sansa Clip is all the support they offer for this player like MP3, WMA (unprotected as well as protected), OGG, FLAC, and Audible files. Sansa Clip debate, the Sansa Clip is in many ways a better MP3 player than the iPod Shuffle, though both are good options.
Music
The player also has a series of preset equalizer settings for different music styles as well as one that you can customize. Its solid state flash memory allows for skip-free playback of music, making it a perfect music player for the gym-goer, runner, walker or traveler. SanDisk is most commonly known for being a major manufacture of memory chips which probably gave them a head start on having reliable memory space to store all your music.
Battery
The rechargable battery seems better than the Creative Zen Stone Plus and gives you a respectable 15 hours. The battery life is great and i am using this regularly and i dont see any issues. In the top right-hand corner, there will be a battery icon.
Screen
Screen brightness levels and backlighting can be configured in the settings menu to suit your preferences. Screen is well lit, and large enough with necessary info. The screen itself displays fine and can get brighter or dimmer, making it easy to view the interface how you want. Beneath the four-line, dual-color OLED screen, is one other key: a home button that cycles between the main menu and the playback screen. While playing a music track, the screen displays battery level, album, track title, and artist. Add the fact that it has a screen for ease of use and full complete control, and also a radio and you will wonder what the hell anyone see’s in a shuffle.
The bottom line: The SanDisk Sansa Clip is an incredible value that’s set to edge out the competition with a user-friendly interface, gym-worthy design, and great sound quality. Considering its size and relatively low cost, the Sansa Clip is incredibly feature rich. This Sansa Clip is perfect for those who travel a lot, whether by plane, car, or train, this little MP3 Player packs a big punch. Sansa Clip is truly a wonderful gadget.

Just bought micrsd sandisk 3 pack for samsung a707 & it doesn’t reconize it?
It say disk does not exist. It also says unrecognized format and it asks if if i want to format and that i might lose data then gives me an error message
If the card isn’t formatted then you can’t use it in a system. Most cards come formatted already, but some do not. Formatting them will erase anything on the card, but then will let you use it.
UNLESS…
The memory is faulty in the card to begin with. This could be a manufacturer error, but most likely someone touched the card and gave it a shock of static electricity. Static can be majorly damaging to memory, and it might not work at all after that.
If the card doesn’t work after you format it (or it doesn’t let you format it) then return it because it’s a bad card.
