This is a picture of Newton's Second Law … I have a title for this and I'm not sure what put. The Mary Rose Victoria 1509, 1759 and HMS HMS Warrior 1859 – History

I decided to create this article on the history of certain ships of Britain's most famous war can still be found in the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. All three are famous flagship of Henry VIII, the Mary Rose, HMS Victory Nelson and the world's first all armored warship HMS Warrior.

The Mary Rose

The Mary Rose was built in Portsmouth in 1509. One of the "big ships" of Henry VIII, Mary Rose was named in honor of Mary King's favorite sister and the Tudor rose emblem. Typical of larger ships sailing fleet with high castles at the bow and stern, which was one the first ships handgun along the port side of the hull for firing heavy weapons.

Mary Rose has a long career and was often in battle against the French. On August 10, 1512 was part of a force of English who attacked the French fleet at Brest. Mary Rose paralyzed the enemy flag, the fall of the mast and causing 300 deaths. This was perhaps the first battle of the Channel when ships fired their heavy artillery through the ports of firearms.

The Wreck of the Mary Rose is the event for which boat is best known. On July 19, 1545 Mary Rose is an English fleet left Portsmouth to join the French. It has launched a broadside against the enemy and turned into the broadside fire when water flooded the others their windows open and suddenly the boat sank at the sight of Henry VIII, watching from the shore. It is unclear what has caused concern to Mary Rose, which was overloaded Additional services and soldiers may have been caught by a gust of wind that made the ship heel over.

The wreck of the Mary Rose was rediscovered in 1968, before recovering Various done much preparation. On October 11, 1982, the hull was raised on the seabed and placed in a cradle before being lifted by a giant floating crane. HMS Victory

Commissioned by the Naval Board June 6, 1759, HMS Victory was designed by the Surveyor of the Navy, Sir Thomas Slade. Construction began July Next Chatham Arsenal under the watchful eye of master John Carpenter Lock. On October 30, 1760, the name of Victory has been chosen for the new ship, perhaps honor of "Annus Mirabilis" of Great Britain (year of victory) in 1759 during the Seven Years War. After completing sea trials, Victoria has been common that the war was over. With the conclusion of the war, the victory was subject to a £ 15,372 set up and had increased its weapons. With the start of the war of the first coalition in 1793, Victoria became the flagship of the Mediterranean fleet of Admiral Samuel Hood, Lord. After participating in the capture (and loss) from Toulon and Corsica, the victory again for a brief review of Chatham in 1794.

Back to the Mediterranean next year, Victoria remained in the area until that the British fleet was forced to retire in Portugal. In December 1796, victory of Admiral John Jervis has made its flagship product, when he took command of the fleet in the Mediterranean. Two months later, he led the fleet to victory over the Spaniards at the Battle of Cape St. Vincent. When Villeneuve left Cadiz on October 19, Nelson was able to take it to the Battle of Cape Trafalgar, two days later. Dividing his force into two Nelson led his expedition into two columns in the heart of the combined fleet Franco-Spanish.

Aggressively attacking the British fleet decimated Villeneuve, won a major victory in naval history. During the Battle of Victoria involved Villeneuve's flagship, the Bucentaur (80) and Formidable (74). Repaired after Trafalgar, the Victory was commissioned as a lighthouse in the Baltic Sea and the coast of Spain. On December 20, 1812, the warship 47, was canceled last Portsmouth. Although the ship was repaired last time after the war he remained in regular session and became the flagship of Admiral of the port in 1824. In 1889, the ship was built for use in school and later Naval Telegraph School of Signals. They remained on board until 1904, when they were transferred to HMS Hercules, and the headquarters of the Royal Navy.

In 1921, the victory was in poor condition and has begun a campaign to raise funds for the restoration of the ship. Transferred to the former dry dock in the world, Dock No. 2 at Portsmouth, January 12, 1922, Victoria made a massive six-year restoration that returned the boat to its appearance in 1805. Victoria saw its share during the last war in 1941 during the Second World War, when he was hit by a Luftwaffe bomb caused some damage to the hull. Under restoration constant, victory is still in committee and is open to the public as a museum ship in Portsmouth.

HMS Warrior

During the first decades of the 19th century, the Royal Navy began add power to steam vessels and their number has been gradually introducing innovations such as iron helmets, some of their smaller ships. In 1858, Admiralty was surprised knowing that the French had begun construction of a warship wooden railway named Glory mixed. It was the desire of the Emperor Napoleon III to replace all the warships of France with iron-hulled battleships, but the French industry has been unable to produce the plate is required. Accordingly, The Glory Wood was built first, then dressed with iron.

Commissioned in August 1860 in The Glory became the first ship battleship during March. Feeling his naval dominance was threatened, the Royal Navy immediately began to build ships in excess of La Gloria. Central to the design of the ship was armed force. Built in the city, the citadel containing the warrior side arms and had 4.5 "iron frame which was closed in 9" teak. During construction, the design of the Citadel has been tested against the most modern weapons the day and none were able to penetrate their armor for added protection, innovative watertight bulkheads were added to the tank. While Guerrero has been designed to carry fewer weapons than many other ships of the fleet, offset by mounting heavy weapons.

These include 26-gun 68-pounder guns and 10 110 pdr breech loading Armstrong. Guerrero was launched at Blackwall December 29, 1860. An especially cold, the ship was frozen in the required forms and six tugs to pull in water. Commissioner on August 1, 1861, the cost of 357,291 pounds Guerrero Admiralty. With the fleet, Guerrero served mainly in home waters as the only dry dock big enough to take what was in Britain. Arguably the warship afloat most powerful when it was designed, Guerrero quickly intimidated rival nations and launched the competition to build bigger and iron Strengths / steel armor.

After repairs during 1871-1875, Guerrero was placed in reserve status. An innovative ship, the naval arms race that helped inspire was swept to become obsolete. From 1875-1883, Guerrero made training cruises Summer in the Mediterranean and the Baltic for reservists. Founded in 1883, the ship remained available for active service until 1900.

In 1904, Guerrero was transferred to Portsmouth and renamed Vernon III as part of the training school of the Royal Navy torpedoes. Supply steam and power to neighboring platforms that make up the school, Guerrero remained in that role until 1923. After several attempts to sell the ship for scrap in the mid-1920s failed, became for the use of a floating dock for oil in Pembroke, Wales Wales. Designated Hulk C77 oil, Guerrero met with humility right half a century. In 1979, the ship was saved from scrap by Maritime Foundation. Initially led by the Duke of Edinburgh, supervised the restoration fund eight years of the ship. Returned to its glory years 1860 Guerrero entered its berth in Portsmouth June 16, 1987, and began a new life as a museum ship.

How to mount Garmin GPS car navigation?!?

I've been looking online for the demo videos or pictures assemble the car mount that comes with the Garmin. I have a Garmin Nuvi 360 and the ball at the end of extended support does not match the "cradle" that adheres the nuvi itself. How do you flare and the hollow portion of the cradle to connect? Just do not understand, I'm missing something!? if Please help!
