I am trying to setup my cable remote to control my GE television?
It is a motorola brand cable box, a GE tv. Is there a website where I can find out how to do this, or does anyone know how to program the remote. An answer from a professional would be great!!
1. Turn Your TV ON.
2. Find the codes listed next to the brand of TV.
3. On the remote, Press and Release the TV key.
4. Press and hold in the SETUP key, until the TV key flashes twice, then release the SETUP key.
5. Using the number pad, enter in the first 4-digit code (found next to your brand. The TV key will flash twice after the last number entered if this was done correctly.
6. Aim the remote at your TV and press the Power Key. If the TV turns OFF, you have found the right code. If the TV does not turn OFF, repeat steps 3 through 6 using the next code listed for your Brand.

How to use samsung tv remote to change time warner cable channels?
I have a samsung lcd tv with time warner cable. Every time i have to change the channel or turn on the tv, i have to use two remotes-the tv’s and the time warner cable remote. How can i change it so that i just have to use one?
The easiest way, IMO, would be to program the cable remote to operate the TV. Many, if not most, TV remotes cannot be programmed to operate a cable box.
