What is the background material for photography studio?
I dont know which one to order!!!! I want the one that is plastic and think and a little bit heavy! I ordered one and it’s a fabric and it gets all wrinkly and I can’t get a smooth white background for my pictures!!!
White rolls of seamless paper up to 12 ft wide and more (shorter too for smaller sets.

Bleached white canvas, rolled up, not folded. The color could be cream or slightly gay. Painters canvass is one I use.

Some cloth and fabric stores can get wide ream of cloth in different widths from bed sheet like material to heavy canvas. Find them in your area and go have a talk with them.

Some people will paint a wall flat white. I have also seen where they have put curved floors like a skate board ramp, with no seams from the floor curving up to the wall, about 3 ft tall. Of course, this would be a very dedicated room for photography, but some do it. They also re-paint it all depending on mood or style of shoot.

I have used these spring loaded pull down curtains you find in “older offices” or older schools. They are a plastic material now and take spray on paint rather well for solid colors or a mish mash of colors. You can also re-do the material if you want to paper or cloth. Cheap. Easy to store, even in place on the wall and easy to change out to different colors when needed. Not too wide, 4 ft usually, maybe wider if you search, but it’s not hard putting a light PVC or aluminum extension on them to make them wider.

A lot of things can be used if you remember to keep the background 3 or more feet away from your subject and pick a DOF to keep it out of focus.. (depth of field)

Lighting and Setting up of a Chroma Key studio
Chroma Key is a process of replacing the background image of the subject by any selected image. This process can be used for both photographs and videos. This technique plays an essential role in beautifying your images and videos. They convey the essence of your photographers. The technique is commonly used by amateur and professional photographers. It is used for creating interactive material for imparting education or for business projects. Those who have photography as their hobby can also create unique videos and images as a fun loving activity. However, one should identify few factors to create distinctive and meaningful images.
Setting and Lighting of the chroma key studio:
A photographer should consider few factors that create good effects in photograph or video. You can set up a proper atmosphere or studio and lighting effect to create vibrant images. The location, position of the subject, equipment, space and technical aspect are the factors to consider. When these things are carefully selected and utilized they create lively and brilliant images. You should utilize better quality camera for photographing your subject. Good quality camera focuses on your subject lucidly and clearly. One can use green or blue color background for the subject. Selecting specific shades is not mandatory. The background as well as the foreground in the video or picture should be evenly and properly lit. Avoid using too much of light that might cause glares in your photograph. Very less light also causes shadows either at the background or on the subject. You should also manipulate lights in such a way so that the background gets differentiated from the subject spontaneously. The material used for the background should also be of good and higher quality. Avoid using green or blue paper as it bounces back light that causes color to spill onto the subject. You can use fine quality cloth for the background and it should not have any creases. A person can keep the subject far from the background. You can also use floor light to eliminate any shadow from the feet of your subject. These are the vital factors that any photographer should keep in mind while creating beautiful and striking photographs and videos.

Logon Studio Vista works for me when i changed the background yesterday, but it no longer works today? Why?
I have used Logon studio Vista since it came out and only today that it just couldn’t work anymore. I do not know the solution, anyone?!!!
The latest version of Logon Studio (part of Object Dock) is 1.7.
If yours is older than that, you may have to upgrade for $35, assuming you bought Object Dock in the first place,
But, if yours is a TRIAL version, it may have expired. And, now you’ll have to BUY it.
