Is it illegal for our neighbors to Video Tape us all the time?
We have been having an on going property dispute with our neighbor. They have resorted to calling the police on us constantly, and sad to say the police are taking there side. They have informed he to video tape our every move, and to file restraining order. I know we are not perfect people but we do nothing that will hurt them, exept live our daily lives. Is it right for them to tape us in our daily activities?
You would have to file a nusance law suit.

What should be included in a permission slip to video tape students at a writing center?
I want to video tape a group of my students as they work at a writing center. I would like to use this tape in the for training purposes. How should I word the permission slips that will be sent home to allow the students to be shown in the video?
-Mention the importance of using video for training
-Ensure the parents the students will remain confidential except for those being trained using the video (this video won’t be for public use)
-Explain to the parents exactly what is going to be video taped
-Make yourself open to be contacted by the parents if they have questions– include a phone number or email address.
